m3 Corporation has joined R.A.G.E Alliance, who are part of the Northern Coalition. BFF right?

So far kills have been low, have lost 3 ships due to stupidity/hopefullness, however you wish to see it.

After 9 days of being in R.A.G.E, I'm still getting used to how things are operated and executed. I've seen many similarites and many differences between the NC and Providence.

Did go on one roam though, found absolutely no russians, got so bored of finding nothing, even setting up a stop bubble caught us nothing. When finally a legion turned up, our interceptor pilot chose at that time to be AFK for a bio. Oh, well. Again to the bordem spree, set up a spider drone tank though.

Resumation of Blogging

Hi, sorry I haven't blogged in AGES.

Rokh Sniper Battleship "Boomstick" Ready for CTA action in defence of PXF space.

I will now say what has happened since my last post:

D-GTMI has been returned to Paxton by Against ALL Authorities.
Paxton assisted their allies CVA in the AY-24I fight, with NO intention of taking sovereignty. (Destroying an offline TCU in a system with no sovereign claimer is NOT sov warfare).
U'K and Providence Pets try to take MH9C-S and was successfully saved by Paxton forces, pretty decently too.
U'K and Providence Pets assault multiple Paxton systems at the same time in our weakest timezone. (Cowardice?)
4 Paxton systems are lost, 2 were saved, leaving PXF with 5 systems.
Paxton have called numerous CTAs in defence of remaining systems, taking out 17 carriers with the help of Pandemic Legion.
X-R3NM has been recaptured by CVA.

Some pretty epic stuff in there right?

So why have I decided to resume blogging again. A discussion came up regarding CVA, and I gotta say, my PERSONAL view of them is not great. Every time I have joined a CVA fleet I have been extremely disappointed, and I promise myself I will never join another one. But I do. Why? I join because I want to shoot stuff, I want to have fun, and again, I am bitterly disappointed.

At one time we had a Paxton fleet standing by to titan bridge into a system where their POS had been put into reinforced. We were left doing nothing for ages. When finally we were told to bridge in, they said "Snipers can stand down". Why make us titan bridge in, then stand down?! No comment.

I give you here an AAR I made a few months ago:

Call went up in Intel for a low sec POS bash, Stealth Bombers only. I being the n00b I am without voice comms assessed on whether or not it was worth risking it.

Pros:
POS Offline, no guns, no hostiles, Medium Tower, didn't need voice comms, only needed a Stealth Bomber, easy kill

Cons:
Lead by CVA, Initial low numbers, No Intel on potential opposition, low sec op

When I joined there were initially 5 SB pilots. Poor turnout. Not that I
blame any of PXF to join them anyway after the previous op.
In the end their turned out to be about 7 SB pilots and about 3 Battleships.

Once we arrived at POS location a friendly cyno went up and a Dreadnought and Carrier were brought in.

Hostile Prophecy warped in at 170km. Warped away to gate, then back to the POS at 0, right into the middle of us. He melted.
Same guy came back at 110km in a Zealot. 2 CVA SB's melted. He warped
off, then back and kept doing it. In total about 4 CVA bombers melted.
Zealot was hero tackled in a belt, and taken down. POS finally went
down.

Fleet composition, coordination, cooperation, execution, safety, Intel, orders, relays and FC was awful.

SUMMARY:

FC did not order/ask for Capital ships and was surprised when friendly cyno went up.
Voice comms were not used effectively.
Fleet chat relay was non-existent.
FC did not designate a secondary FC before op or even during op after he had been taken down despite me asking twice.
Finally once secondary FC was designated, said FC wasn't even in system.
Too many CVA SBs were lost.
They should have warped off or cloaked when zealot was on grid.
Lack of use of directional scanners from all members, no intel on reds in system.
Reckless use of capital ships.
However objective achieved and POS was taken down. Despite in the piss poor way it was executed.

Anyway rant over.
I have now trained for my Chimera class Carrier, I am extremely happy with it, and now to train to m3 fleet standard!

Black Holes & Revelations

Update on what's been happening, again sorry for the low frequency of posting, blogging has been a low priority over University work and actual in-game time.

Still no luck on the voice comms issue, Solio, one of the guys in m3 has been extremely helpful though, so thanks to him!

Without voice comms I have been able to get in on a few fleets, and I can say now following orders is quite hard, even if relayed to you through fleet chat and broadcasts. I have however been able to ninja in on a few kills. ;)

Two of them were delayed ones, due to mischief in a stealth bomber. Unexpected but certainly not unwelcome!

Had an alliance CTA on Saturday with the end result being the take down of 2 low sec Atlas POS's, they were unstronted. No comment on that. Well, ok, I'll bite. Fail.

I have to add in here though, m3 has been one of the best choices so far in my EVE life. I would recommend joining m3 to anyone. Providing you like shooting stuff that is.

Lost my stealth bomber and pod yesterday. Absolutely no way it could have been avoided, and kudos the the pilot managing to catch me.

Using some tweaking I have managed to get on EVE past my university network!
However, if anyone knows how to get TeamSpeak working through a UDP tunnel or something PLEASE, PLEASE, let me know.

Otherwise I am a useless lemon that can't actually join fleets. Been doing the carebaring today.

Rex has made an awesome post on fleet scouting that I decided to go make bookmarks after reading it. Unfortunately I got bored after making 17. I'm more of a pew pew guy than a scout methinks.

It is the onset of work my University has piled on me. Let alone I had fieldweek, and 4 write-ups to do. Things have been hectic in real life.

From what I can tell from reading semi-reliable reports from both sides of the Providence, things have been hectic in internet spaceships too.

Expect more reliable and constructive blogging in the very near future. If I don't, feel free to beat me, although I might like it. ;)

Been ill for what seems like a million years, I was pretty much a vegtable for 2 days as well. As a person that runs everyday and eats pretty healthy, it's just not fair. So, without more moaning, sorry for the lack of postage!

Things in Providence seem to be settling down now, however I won't cross my fingers.

My opinion on 9UY4-H?

Unfortunate loss I'm sure, but since I've been in m3 I don't think I went there once, I've been a couple of times previously, but I don't see it as a major loss. Besides we did let it go with little to no defense, much to my dismay, no, correction, shock and disbelief. I'm sure the tactical reasons that were explained to us are right in some ways, however, I'm not one for laying back while we get our asses handed to us. Heck, maybe it will give people an aim, to take it back. Or maybe not.

Small gang warfare and roams which we love (compared to POS bashing and sovereignty wars anyway) is rife and looking at m3's killboard, looking extremely destructive for all those who oppose us. =D

Next post will show my "evespace" which seems to be the craze at the moment. I could show you now, but there's a tad of tidying up to do!

The Future

Providence has now lost 2 systems, D-GTMI and 9UY4-H. Both of which are important strategical systems for CVA and allies. Looking at the Providence and Catch system maps, it seems as though more and more systems are falling under the control of our enemies. Against All Authorities own D-G, which used to be a Paxton Federation system, and also a home for m3, right on the edge of Providence it was a strategically important stronghold. 9UY is now owned again by Ushra Khan, the station renamed "Unity Station" was formerly owned by U'K. 9UY was also one of the market stations and again of strategical importance to CVA with it being a key system for northern Providence. The system of J6QB-P in Catch formerly owned by Sylph Alliance is also owned by U'K, Sylph have also lost sovereignity in W9-DID.

My point is even though I am not able to play EVE at the moment, it feels as though the walls are closing in. We are the defenders in a cave with our backs to the wall and no way out apart from outside, right into the enemy. Even so, I can say, morale wise, m3 are still up for a fight and are doing what they do best, dish out pain. Personally I am definately still in the fight, as long as we can fight I'll do it in every ship I have, until I lose them all, and then, I'll buy some more. We do not give up, "first to fight, last to leave" is our second motto, and apparently why we lose more ships ratio wise than any other corporation in fleets. Morale overall in Proviblock though? Sketchy I would say.

What will the future of Providence be? Rumours are flying around about friend and foes alike, some with solid, hard evidence, some from a random pink lemming falling off an apple tree in the Houses of Parliment. -A- are formidable enemies, and yet, Proviblock is still standing tall, proud and defiant. Reports of unexpected war declarations from Morhus Mihi and Razor Alliances have been confirmed against -A-, I do not know their motives or whether or not how much of an impact that this wil have on Providence and not to mention the situation regarding c0ven and -A-.Will Providence fall? I doubt it. But how much damage and punishment can it take before -A- suffer the consequences?

Why do you love EVE Online so much?

Such a simple, vague and yet difficult question.

I love EVE because of its complexity, the way it immerses you and also its brutality.

The way you can do whatever you want, however you want and whenever you want. The number of options is almost limitless, who says you can't mine in a titan, hell everyone will hate you but still, you have the option to! The career paths you can choose are pretty set, the PvE experience is set, but then you can have the option of doing it or not.

The way that your actions, success, failure or passiveness may or may not affect other real players and the environment around you. May they be your trusted corpmates who are relying on you or a fearsome enemy fleet bearing down on you. You have to admit, even though not squeaky clean, the graphical aspect of EVE is fantastic. I'm sure everyone has taken a screenshot of some celestial object sometime.

Brutality. Heck, life is life. You get blown up, you die. You move on. Although I like this way of playing, many do not. They may find it frustrating, and may emoragequit because of it. I see it as a path, a way to improve, to strive to be the best, learn from my mistakes and next time, I'll be the one giving out the brutal life.

Paxton Space Under Attack

Providence has been at arms for a few weeks against the residents of Catch. After Dominion Against ALL Authorities decided to give up the systems F9E-KX, SV5-8N, WD-VTV and 9KOE-A. After time Libertas Fidelitas Alliance decided to make a play for these systems, because I wasn't fully involved and currently still am not involved due to real life getting in the way, I cannot say how this went. However after much pew pew, LFA had gained 3 out of 4 systems with .-A-. firmly holding onto SV5-8N. HED-GP the neighbouring system is of great logistical importance to them and they are adamant that it will not fall into our "slaver" hands. Good on them too, they are putting up a great fight.

With .-A-. occupied in the war against Goonswarm though us Providence holders are having an easy time. However yesterday .-A-. turned around and slammed a whole different game on Providence, namely by attacking the system of D-GTMI, an important system for the Paxton Federation. We did fear that this might have been the response and kudos to .-A-. they steamrollered over us with superior numbers and firepower. Able to knock out the Cynosural Jammer and jumpbridges, Providence holders were going to have a hard time regaining control, especially against the capital fleet that .-A-. deployed inluding Supercarriers and Titans. Defense fleets did the best they could however the response was too little and too late. D-GTMI had been hit, and hit hard.

Currently I do not know how things are playing out for Providence Holders, however I must congratulate the defense fleets and fleet commanders for doing the best they could under overwhelming odds. Congratulations are in order to .-A-. and allies as well for their swift and devastating blow. May there be many more fights!

NB: Yes, I am with Paxton Federation so of course I am against the scum invading our space, but still a little credit for the unblessed ones can't go amiss.

Moon Mining Fiasco

If you've never set up a POS, this may interest you.
If you have, you may laugh at our n00bishness. Hey, we were all n00bs once right?

This was, I admit, a story from a few months ago.

Nakatre (0.6), Devoid, Guild Alliance HQ.

My friend Northern Fall, who at the time I believe was the Guild Academy CEO, had been badgering me for a few weeks about setting up a moon mining POS. I had mentioned it to our alliance leader, he had advised against it as it was just not profitable, unless you had a moon with good goo. Unsurprisingly the moons with good goo had been taken and were in 0.0 security space. I pointed this out to North, not to mention the logistics, the costs and time involved.

However his badgering was very persuasive. After working out POS module costs, fuel costs and deciding what moon and where we would plant this business opportunity, North somehow came up with a positive monetary figure. Now, anything that says to me, money, without doing that much work? BINGO! So, I went along and partook in said venture.

This isn't a story really, it's all just preamble to a very memorable conversation and time we both shared. Anyone that has had the experience of setting up a POS will know the time involved in anchoring and onlining the blasted things, if not, it takes hours. Well, we did the whole make sure it's relatively safe stuff, NORTHERN FALL THEN WARPED US TO THE CHOSEN MOON and I then proceded to anchor and online said POS and modules.

So after two whole said hours (which to me is an insane amount of time), I check the POS overview. Now I can't remember what it said exactly, but it was along the lines of "This moon has no harvestable resources". That can't be right, I must have done something wrong, basic systems were online, I hadn't set up anything surplus, what is wrong?

Here comes the memorable part:

All that time wasted! Not only did I now have to offline and unanchor everything, but then anchor and online everything again at the right moon! Bah! Grade A mistake.

That my friends is my funny story for now, every time I read that conversation I just laugh, it may not be funny to others, but to me, well I'm still laughing.

Mush's pr0tip after all this? Check you're at the right moon before doing anything. ;)

A Matter of Principal: Part 1

Being the newly appointed CEO of the Guild Navy was a lot harder than the last time, I had been CEO before but that was a temporary post, just to keep things ticking over. This time the post was permanent. Inheriting the attributes of major neat freak from my pod mother, I had decided to reorganise the whole Navy. Roles, titles, hangers, permissions, you name it, of course the station masters hate change, however a capsuleers twitch of the hand towards the blaster holster was normally enough persuasion for most people.

After a few hours I had to get outside, the golden monotony of the Amarrian station was numbing my implants. My neocom buzzed, perfect I thought, "I'll be right there buddy." I paced towards the corporate ship hanger and ordered the technician to load me up into my Drake class Battlecruiser - Pancake Mark VI. The Drake cruised out of Zoars and Sons, I set the co-ordinates for planet 5, Northern Fall my long time friend and fellow director needed his hurricane shown the meaning of pain. Of course I'd let his ship stay intact - to a point.

Without warning red lights flashed, the drake spun around, engines roaring, I raced towards the console, hearing that North's hurricane was also independently moving. CODE 14-B. I checked it again, CODE 14-B, this couldn't be right, the alliance wasn't at war, then I saw who had broadcasted it, Joseph Reaper, Senior Member - Location: Jarkkolen - CONCORD designated 0.8 high security space. I tried contacting Joseph, no reply, something must be seriously wrong, no one had needed the whole alliance on combat alert since the Genesis War.

Contacting North, both of us were perplexed, heck if it was real it was time to load up the ammo, if it was a false alarm, severe repercussions were to be had. Checking alliance fleet topography showed a less than satisfactory result, North and I were the closest members by over 20 jumps. With only 2 jumps left to go I stripped off and lowered myself into the cold, clammy "bio-goo" of my pod. Being used to the sensation now the Drake's systems came online under my control, the Drake was still hightailing it at the maximum safe speed towards Joseph's last known position.

Entering Jarkkolen I heard the subliminal "Warp Drive Activated", I transmitted to North, "Form up on arrival, 500 metres to starboard, be prepared for anything". With the faint wisps of plasma clearing from the cameras I saw Joseph Reaper's Hulk streaming fire with a Enyo assault frigate mercilessly pounding on it. Northern Fall activated his Microwarpdrive and catapulted towards the hostile ship. Both ships' shields unable to withstand the sudden impact, the Enyo explosively disintegrated. North contacted me "Apologies sir, we had to act fast, and I've also got a magnetic pump failure on the fore shield transmitter." I replied, "Copy that North, rendezvous at Caldari Navy Station 3, and nice... shunt, out." North had a knack for impulse reactions, sometimes with hilarious or suicidal consequences, this time however his impulse just saved a whole ship's crew. Despite this tendency, in times of real crap, I wouldn't have anyone else.

Hailing the battered hulk of Joseph I still got no reply, "Warrant Officer Banica, board and rescue any and all survivors." After 10 minutes all crew saved, I had Pancake Mark VI align to meet with North. Besides we still needed out friendly duel once he had his ship repaired, not to mention a debrief with Joseph Reaper who was currently in Medical Bay. A sudden jerk in deceleration showed that the hostile pilot had returned, but in Dominix class Battleship. I got the notice "External factors are preventing your warp drive from responding to this command". Not good.

A Cinematic Experience

Here's a collection of screenshots I've taken in EVE which just demonstrate what New Eden can provide us. Which is frankly damn good eye candy. Who needs to actually play the game if you can see it!

We all know the Drake has a beast of a tank.

Doing some 0.0 plexes with fellow corporation pilots.

Battle badger? When EVE goes a bit wrong. However a ship with the transportation of a badger and the defence of a drake would be pretty awesome. It's amazing how well the two ships actually seem to fit together.

Faction Wars love, I must say its a very interesting gameplay style, not as organised as Providence fleets though.

Well to be perfectly honest I didn't expect that at all!
I was expecting more along the lines of "Mush says hi" or something.
I must say that being mentioned on Kirith's blog is a huuuuge honour and now I feel in debt to him to write an extremely good post.

However, me, not being that good at any kind of writing at all, will come apparent to you guys extremely soon. (It does not help being at nightclub rep as well for the last 7 hours, drinking a tad too much, and knowing you have a lecture to attend in 5 hours. Not to mention this Biology essay I have to do in 9 hours, which as yet has not seen it's full potential.)

I must say that no one has probably ever heard of me, so it gives me a headache (compounded with the alcohol fizzing around my bloodstream) trying to think what to write that would be worthy of such brilliant readers.

Any background information about me can be found in the few previous blog posts, please, please, please give me tips on what to and what not to do in a blog, I am new, please any advice is gracefully accepted!

I have decided to write about relationships or what I have personally experienced relationship wise in EVE. Being the former diplomat of my old alliance, I was often the one that pilots inside and outside the alliance either complained to, about, complimented, argued with, and deemed to do various other socialistic activities with. I also had the honour of being the Alliance Mascot, so meaningless to most people, but within the Alliance I was the ever-happy, cheerful and optimistic person in the chat channels.

I have a knack (no boasting meant) to befriend anyone and everyone. During times of war and uneasy relationships this was sometimes seen upon as suspicious from both my alliance and whoever at the time were our sworn mortal enemies. I have a theory you see, I treat people how I would like to be treated myself, why this would need to be different in a game compared to real life, I see no logical reason. I have always regarded pilots that were deemed a threat to us with utmost respect, besides there's no reason why we can't be civil to each other. Shouting vulgarity across the Local chat channels is unnecessary and often disheartening. Of course I am only human so my passive, outgoing, optimistic stance on everybody can sometimes slip or be biased, for this I can only say, sorry, but I am not perfect.

Of course I couldn't not mention the people that have blown my ship and sometimes my pod up to smithereens, whether it be through factional warfare, 0.0 skirmishes and being suicide ganked, I must say that, heck it's life, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, that's EVE, and that's life, although no matter how unfair it may seem, that's how things work and I must say that I admire your spirit and determination for doing so.

Therefore I must conclude with Ushra'Khan and Against All Authorities who are our immediate neighbours and KOS in our space that I respect you guys. A good fight is what everyone wants, a bit of cheeky, non-abusive banter is flashed across the neocom are always fun to talk about, how that tighter orbit just clinched you of victory and how sometimes you decimate the opposing fleet with superior tactics and sheer CCP induced lag.

Again, thankyou very much Kirith, and I must say my body is yours forever.

Skill Plan Update Jan '10

As you can tell from the pie chart, I have increased my Missile related skills allowing me to use T2 Heavy Missiles, my Leadership skills for the much wanted Nighthawk, and chucked in some Gunnery skills for a much needed sniper ship. A sniper Rokh is my dream, but being shield tanking, it is frowned apon in most fleets, so a sniper Apocalypse is more likely. (Might sneakily buy a Rokh though).

So far I am 7 days away (if I were to train for it) from my fully fitted Nighthawk, money wise I am far from it! Especially considering the way I wish to fit it. I have wondered whether or not to get one now, since a Raven can easily do the same job, with more DPS, not to mention being cheaper and having insurance.

My aim this year? To get a Chimera, one of the best looking ships in New Eden in my opinion. To fly one would take me about 84 days, easy right? Well considering that is just the ship and I'm looking at 900M isk for just the skillbooks not to mention the hull. To get my Chimera fully fitted, so including the use of Capital Shield Booster, Capital Shield, Energy, Armour and Structure Transfers, Fighters and Triage Module will take about 216 days. Sadface. Mind you I might get the carrier just for the logistics side, transporting goods in and out of Providence will be a lot easier for me. Thankfully m3 Corp does Carrier runs very frequently and for free, but I could join in me thinks, help everyone else out. And besides if the proverbial hits the fan, it's just gonna be another unfitted carrier on battleclinic which will be outraged at.

New Corporation

I have decided to join m3 Corp, they are an extremely fun group of pilots and very experienced pew pew wise. Unfortunately my time with the Guild Alliance ended as they have declined in numbers and activity since September. I looked to join a mercenary corporation, and I found one I liked. However I had a talk with one of the officers and just a week after I applied, I decided to withdraw, the main reason being is that I do not have enough combat experience. We both agreed that I would possibly apply at a later date.

Seeing that m3 had joined Paxton was a huge factor in deciding to apply. I know northern Providence very well and m3 looked to be a lot of fun and a lot of pew pew opportunity. Out of all the holder alliances Paxton did seem to suit me the best.

After 2 interviews, a bit of typing and an extremely quick assets move, I was accepted for my trial period in m3! So far my time in m3 has been extremely enjoyable, and perfect since the opportunities to let off missiles at reds and rats are never ending. It is also my priviledge to be in the same corporation as Kirith Kodachi, not to mention having a very nice CEO and one of the best FCs I have flown under - Greyhound37.

Skill Plan Update

Done a few ships skills while I've been unable to play, normally queuing up longer skills such as Battleship 4, Cruiser 5 and Battlecruiser 5. Along with a few more Learning skills and various other long skills, my skill pie chart now looks like this:

I plan to fly a Nighthawk when I return so thumbs up for that. Training for T2 heavy missiles now. I saw that I do not now need to train Energy Management 5 for Thermodynamics (for overheating), great plus for me, but a bit annoying I should imagine for people that did train for it. Oh, well.

I have my eyes on a couple of Corporations that interest me, but until I get back to my usual gaming time I shall wait a bit longer.

Lack of EVE Playing

I have now not been on EVE for over 2 months, unfortunately University does not condone online gaming through their network.

Otherwise as the avid gamer I am I have been ploughing through Xbox 360 games like there is no tomorrow. I must say that I normally am not a fan of racing games, but Forza Motorsport 3 gets a real thumbs up from me. Superb graphics, great menu music, car replication, track replication, the car sounds are all brilliant, not to mention the over 50 hours of career mode gameplay. The only downside is the lack of music and also lack of good music while racing, coupled with the weird spectators, spoils it a tad.

I also see a lot of people wanting to know what the music is on FM3, well use your initiative like me, and look at the credits. All the songs are listed there.

EVE wise, I have made sure all my training is kept churning away, nearly able to fly a nighthawk now. Been trying to keep up with what's happening but it's just not he same without actually playing the game. Also steamrolling through the amount of unread blogs I have amounting at one time to over 800. Sadface. I'm getting through it, you can trust me on that.

Blog wise, no one follows my blog. Extreme sadface, nevermind, maybe one day people will look at me and think "Wow, I knew that guy". No? Oh, well, I can always dream.

Skill plan update

Just thought that while a random socket is closing on me I'll let you know about my character skills.

I, unlike quite a few people only have 1 account, I can't afford anymore. I'm not Bill Gates.

I have 3 characters, only 1 of which I use: MushskiC.
The other 2 are alts in the other alliance corporations for administrative purposes only.

MushskiC is born and bred for combat, with a couple of random skills chucked in.
Typical Caldari, my skills are trained in shields and missiles. I do plan on branching into hybrids and blasters sometime though. I can fly every caldari T2 frigate and every caldari T1 ship up to battleship, apart from the Rokh! I do want one though, so I will get on it. My main ship has been for a few months, the Drake. A solid tank and capable of holding its own in most situations. Quite flexible with fittings too. Some people have progressed further ship wise and to that I applaud them and yet disapprove of them. Flying a BS like a Raven, which I can do, but rarely, if you can't fit it out and be comfortable with using it, then I won't fly it. I am fully confident in my Raven, but I do prefer my Drake at the moment. Like loads of people have said, don't fly a ship you cannot afford to replace. I strongly agree with this and seeing people use Ravens with heavy missiles just make me cringe. Why must people do this? What are they thinking?

I see FAILFITS so many times that I just despair sometimes.

Being raped by a closing socket on both Tranquility and Sisi is not fun, let alone the unexpected downtimes we've been having, Mush is not happy.

In other news today, usual level 3 mission grinding this morning in my awesome trusty Drake (Pancake Mark VIII), got a MINING mission with an intelligence agent... just my luck, asked someone in the alliance to do it for me. =D

Traveled to Uitra, afterwards, mainly to do the career/tutorial missions for lols. It's not very lol-able at all, it's dead boring. XD

Sisi wise, found out that 3 towers had been erected in my wonderful sovereign signed space! That just won't do. Grabbed the torpedo Raven and proceeded to "have a peek". Resulted in me going angry-green-hulk on 3 towers, destroying 2 Moon Harvesting Arrays, 2 Coupling Arrays, 2 Silos and 3 Corporation Hangers. Obviously me pounding away at a control tower in a lonely Raven won't do, so I gave up. Mind you I hope they get the annoying mail "Your starbase is under attack".

1. I know PvP is meant to be consensual.
2. My space, my system, don't contest me, it's against the rules.
3. pr0 tip, if you're gonna plant a POS in my system, make sure you FUEL it.

First Blog Ever!

Hiya,

Kinda new to all this blogging stuff and what not, but hey I'll give it my best shot!

A few questions you may be asking:

1) Who the hell am I?
2) What's with the name?
3) I don't see how that relates to EVE at all...
4) OMG I LOVE MushskiC!
5) Wait, how do you pronounce that?!

Okies introduction first!

1. I am just an average guy, I live in England (cheers all round) and I play EVE Online.
I am Aaron Penn, 18, about to start Uni - going to Plymouth to read Ocean Exploration.
In EVE I am MushskiC, current CEO of the Guild Navy of the Guild Alliance. I am also the soon to be retiring Alliance Diplomat and Mascot. I am your typical Caldari missile spewing, shield tanking kinda person, I like to shoot stuff, whether this be missioning, PvP, Faction Wars, Wormhole space, 0.0 space or pirate hunting.

2. The name? Well I like it, I came up with it years ago, mostly because I was messing around on Halo PC thinking of alliterations. I think that's what an alliteration is anyway, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. BUT BE NICE ABOUT IT! =P

3. No it doesn't. I did try and think of an EVE related name, CrazyKinux already has musing, so...
MushskiC's Manticores? I don't think so. Besides I like marshmallows more than manticores.

4. Yes, I know. Spread this blog around. =)

5. MushskiC? I've heard many variations and pronunciations. Let's go to the beginning. I used to play Halo PC, used to be called "a mushroom". Why?! Dude, wtf?! Let me explain, when I killed someone it would say: RANDOMGUY was killed by a mushroom. At the time it was pretty random and funny, still is random, idk about funny. I'm a random kinda guy. Ok so, that got shortened to Mush, and then I've had variations on that, mostly by other people. Mushy, Mushie, Mushykins, Mushmush, M, M-town (don't ask). Well the list goes on. Anyway in EVE i decided to sign up my character as Mushski, after a week or so I decided to go the Caldari route, MushskiC was born. C for Caldari. ;)
How to pronounce that? Mush-ski-see. Easy. However everyone just says Mush, which is a lot easier.

Right I will do another post later explaining who I am in EVE, why I started blogging and about my alliance.
